eBooks
Since many of our customers have requested instructions that are covered in our classes in writing, we are beginning a series of short PDF ebooks. Each ebook will cover a particular aspect of glass work. Our focus will always be on how a professional studio uses each technique and we share this information with our students. We are planning on creating and releasing books covering all aspects of our craft.

Private Classes
We are always available to assist our customers in getting to the next technical level as easily as possible. To accomplish this, we schedule private lessons where the customer brings in completed or partially completed projects so that technique can be critiqued. We encourage customers to bring their own equipment in so that we can ensure all is in order, the customer then can use their own equipment during the class or try out and compare their equipment with our selection of professional tools.

Basic Fused Glass
Class is designed for all students to learn what happens to glass as it is heated in a kiln. Using studio examples and by having students use studio kilns to fuse many pieces, students will understand typical problems and how to avoid and correct them. Class allows experienced fusers to maximize the use of their kilns and develop technical excellence for repeatable results. Learn how to make glass jewelry, wind chimes, wall tiles, coasters and slumped and sagged pieces. Also learn how best to use dichroic glass and acid etching. Students purchasing kilns will be invited to stay an extra 1 ˝ to 2 hours at least one night in order to use the kiln model purchased in a supervised environment. As a Jen-Ken Distributor, substantial kiln discounts are available. Also, a new DVD on fusing is now available.
